Nature's Dance

The curtain covers the stage,
All lies quiet and dull.
A flash of light pierces through the darkness,
Drums echo back with deafening tones.
Silently the dancers,
Start swaying towards the floor.
The light flashes all around,
the music rumbles louder.
Together the dancers sway and fall,
intertwining their bodies with the ripening beat.
Just as it seems there is no end,
the stage falls quiet once again.
The gray clouds are torn by the sun,
the lightning ends with the thunders roar.
And the little rainy dancers,
lie in puddles upon the floor.
